Update Personal Survival Techniques - Self Declaration Route
You may attend this Self Declaration STCW PST Update Course only if:
- You already hold a valid STCW Proficiency in Personal Survival Techniques (PST) certificate from any STCW-compliant flag state.
- AND, you have maintained onboard competence in all skills listed in the official Self-Declaration Form (Annex B of MSN 1865) within the last 5 years.
Please ensure you refer to MSN 1865 to check your full eligibility before booking. If you cannot meet the required onboard training criteria or have not completed the necessary tasks in the past 5 years, you must book the full Personal Survival Techniques 1 Day course instead.

- Understand emergency procedures, distress signals, hypothermia prevention, and rescue strategies
