Course Entry Requirements
- Under the new STCW Convention and Code, updated proficiency training will be required every 5 years.
Prerequisites
- Advanced Fire Fighting certificate issued by any STCW country that the MCA accepts for the issue of a CEC
- UK CEC
- UK CoC (not including Master of Code Vessels)
Course Information
This course is classroom based involving practical group tasks. Students will refresh and update their knowledge with focus on controlling fire fighting operations on board ship, organising & training fire parties, fixed systems and fire investigations. This is provided with essential education and training to meet the knowledge, understanding and proficiency set out in the STCW table A-VI/3
This is the full day course and not the self declaration route.
